What stays on your device
Typing passages, your typed input, scores, settings, and test history are processed and stored locally on your device. TypeProof does not require an account, and Evmodu does not receive your typed content or test history.
Advertising data
TypeProof uses Google Mobile Ads to show one native ad on the home screen. The SDK may automatically collect and share an IP address (which can estimate general location), app interactions such as launches and taps, diagnostic information such as performance and crash-related signals, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit.
Consent and your choices
Where required, TypeProof uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request or refresh consent before ads can be requested. If privacy options are available for your region, you can reopen them from Settings. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. If consent does not allow an ad request, the ad area stays collapsed.
Permissions
TypeProof does not request access to your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, or notifications. Network access is used only for advertising and related consent services.
Retention and deletion
Local test history remains on your device until you clear it in TypeProof Settings, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Evmodu has no server copy of that history to delete. Data handled by Google is governed by Google's own retention controls and policies.
Children
TypeProof is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly ask users to provide personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, its services, or legal requirements change. The effective date on this page identifies the latest version.
